Our priority at First Ascent is to teach our clients how to climb SAFELY! Not only will this course teach you the basics of how to rock climb, it will leave you with the knowledge necessary to make constructive and safe decisions for the extent of your rock climbing career. |
All equipment is provided including harness, helmet, climbing shoes, and belay equipment.
Climbers are welcome and encouraged to bring their own equipment if it is in good condition,
but it is not required. Your guide will inspect all equipment before your trip.

Course can be scheduled 7 days a week, year round. Beginner half day courses are 4 hours long and are a great introduction to the sport. Full day courses are 6 hours long and are the recommended length for anyone looking to learn and practice as much as possible. |

Booking, Cancellation and Weather Policy:
A 50% deposit is required at time of booking. Remaining balance is due in full the day of your trip. Reservations must be cancelled 48 hours prior to your trip to receive a full refund. Trips cancelled within 48 hours of trip date are eligible to be rescheduled but no refund will will be issued. No shows will forfeit the trip deposit and are not eligible to be rescheduled. If First Ascent has to cancel a trip due to weather, the trip will be rescheduled or a full refund will be issued. |
