            Reach new heights with an exciting day of guided rock climbing! Perfect for Groups, Family Outings, Birthdays, Dates and Any other Occasion.

            One of our experienced AMGA trained or certified guides will take you and your group out for an unforgettable day of rock climbing at one of the Front Range's premier climbing areas.

All ages, skill and fitness levels welcome!

            We customize every trip to fit the exact goals and desires of your group. First Ascent provides all technical gear necessary, including Climbing Shoes, Harnesses, Helmets and Belay Equipment.

 
Available in Half-days or Full-days!
           
Half days are available for both mornings and afternoons during the summer. Morning Half-day trips usually start at 9am and finish around 1-1:30pm, Afternoon Half-day trips usually start at 2pm and finish around 6-6:30pm. Full-day trips usually start at 9am and finish around 3-4pm.

What to bring:


- Comfortable shoes to walk in
- 2 to 3 liters of water (i.e. 2 Nalgenes)
- Lunch or snacks
- Sun protection (sunscreen, sun hat, sunglasses)

Just in case, all of our guides carry extra water, sunscreen and snacks.

Garden of the Gods

            Garden of the Gods is made up of spectacular sandstone formations that soar into the sky. This popular tourist destination should not be missed on a visit to Colorado, and what better way to see it then climb it!

Red Rock Canyon Open Space

            Located just minutes west of downtown Colorado Springs, Red Rock Canyon's sandstone cliffs are home to over 90 bolted sport climbing routes. Red Rock Canyon is a great place to learn the basics of rock climbing and rappelling.

North Cheyenne Canyon

            This magnificent park located on the south side of Colorado Springs is home to towering walls of Pikes Peak granite. With its unbeatable location and classic beginner routes north Cheyenne is the perfect place to hone your climbing skills.

Castlewood Canyon

            (Permits pending) Located just west of Castle Rock, Castlewood Canyon State Park is a breathtaking hidden canyon which offers phenomenal rock climbing on is funky and fun conglomerate cliffs. With its close proximity to Denver, Castlewood Canyon is the perfect place to get away for a day and go climb. The canyon offers an abundance of beginner and intermediate climbs, along with a few advanced climbs, making it a perfect place for all skill levels.
