This intermediate course is a perfect extension of our Beginner Climbing course, for those with a small amount of outdoor experience, or for anyone who has learned how to climb indoors and would like to start venturing outdoors. As with all of our courses, each course is custom tailored to the skills, .abilities and goals of the participants of every group. You can see the list of already formed groups on Top-Papers.com.
All equipment is provided including harness, helmet, climbing shoes, and belay equipment. Climbers are welcome and encouraged to bring their own equipment if it is in good condition, but it is not required.
Your guide will inspect all equipment before your trip.

Our priority at First Ascent is to teach our clients how to climb SAFELY! Not only will this course teach you the basics of outdoor rock climbing, it will leave you with the knowledge necessary to make constructive and safe decisions for the extent of your rock climbing career. For those with no climbing experience who would like a more in depth introduction to the sport, this class can be combined with our Beginner Course over a 2-day period. |
Courses can be scheduled 7 days a week, year round. Full day courses are 6 hours long, which is the recommended length for anyone looking to learn and practice as much as possible.
