All equipment is provided including harness, helmet, climbing shoes, and belay equipment. Climbers are welcome and encouraged to bring their own equipment if it is in good condition, but it is not required.

Our priority at First Ascent is to teach our clients how to climb SAFELY! Not only will this course teach you the skills listed on the left, it will leave you with the knowledge necessary to make constructive and safe decisions for the extent of your rock climbing career.

Courses can be scheduled 7 days a week, year round. Do to the amount of information covered and to give ample time to practice with our instructors we recommend a full day (6 hours) for lead climbing courses. Courses can be done in a 4 hour half day setting as well. |
