North Cheyenne Canyon is home to an endless supply of Pikes Peak granite as well as the stunning Silver cascade and Helen Hunt waterfalls. Nestled at the base of Pikes Peak this City Park is truly one of a kind. Whether it is Rock Climbing, Ice Climbing, or even Snowshoeing you can do quite literally do it all in North Cheyenne Canyon. |
Directions:
Coming From Denver (North): Take I-25 south to Colorado Springs, take the Nevada/Tejon st. Exit, the sign will read both streets (this is NOT the first Nevada Exit). Travel south on S Tejon St. At the 5-way stop light turn right onto Cheyenne Blvd. Travel west on Cheyenne Blvd and turn right into the Canyon Coffee Parking lot just before S 8th st.
Coming From Pueblo (South): There are a number of route options coming from Pueblo or south of Colorado Springs. This is what we feel is the easiest route. Take I-25 North to the Nevada/Tejon Exit. Go straight(West) at the first stop light crossing S Nevada Ave. Turn left(south) at the following light, onto S Tejon St. and travel south. At the 5-way stop light, turn right onto Cheyenne Blvd. Travel west on Cheyenne Blvd and turn right into the Canyon Coffee Parking lot just before S 8th st. Coming From Woodland Park (West): Take Highway 24 East. Turn right on onto S 8th St. and travel South until you reach the Canyon Coffee Parking lot just before you reach Cheyenne Blvd. |
Where to meet you guide:
Your guide will meet you in the parking lot outside of Canyon Coffee off of Cheyenne Blvd and S 8th st. Plan on following your guide to the Canyon from here, it is 3 minute drive from this location.
