Red Rock Canyon Open Space



This lesser known park is located just south of the famous Garden of The Gods. Red Rock Canyon is made up of slabby Sandstone walls up to 100ft tall! This local secret and beginner friendly climbing area is where we teach the majority of our courses and clinics and is recommend for any large groups or groups with small children!

Directions:

Coming From Denver (North): Take I-25 South to Colorado Springs. Exit onto Highway 24 and travel West. Turn left onto S Ridge Road (Heads up, the street sign is very small! this is the first left turn after passing the 31st st. stoplight) Briefly travel south on ridge road and turn left into Red Rock Canyon Open Space Park at the roundabout. Follow the park road past the large parking lot on the right. After going straight through the stop sign continue to follow the road until it ends in the inner parking lot.

Coming From Pueblo (South): Take I-25 North to Colorado Springs. Exit onto Highway 24 and travel West. Coming From Woodland Park (West): Take Highway 24 East. Turn right onto S Ridge Road (Heads up, the street sign is very small! If you reach 31st st. you have gone too far east.) Briefly travel south on ridge road and turn left into Red Rock Canyon Open Space Park at the roundabout. Follow the park road past the large parking lot on the right. After going straight through the stop sign continue to follow the road until it ends in the inner parking lot.

Where to meet your guide:

Your guide will meet you in the inner(second and smaller) Parking lot from the main entrance at Red Rock Canyon Open Space. If you are parked West of the bike park you are in the wrong parking lot.
